Trajectory

NV2A derives from combining the founders’ last name initials, namely, Neves, Vazquez and two Arellanos. The Miami-based company has significantly contributed to the South Florida landscape with award-winning buildings and true local service in a short period of time. NV2A was established to go above and beyond its core purpose to bring top notch infrastructure to the region. NV2A seeks to become the preferred choice for our clients, partners and employees.

For Agustin Arellano, Gilberto Neves, Jesus Vazquez and Agustin Arellano, Jr., developing a new construction business came rather naturally after years of service in key ownership and leadership positions in their respective firms. NV2A serves as a vehicle where unique ideas can flow free from the bureaucracy and rigid structures that define the competition. We capitalize on our key team’s collective experience and rich trajectory in the local market. This means an enhanced, more personal approach to servicing our clients.

Agustin Arellano and Agustin Arellano, Jr. come from the healthcare and higher education realm through the ownership of their former construction business, which was later sold to a multi-national group. Through more than 43 years of uninterrupted presence with great track record, the Arellanos were able to establish important relationships with clients in those markets. These relationships continue to grow and solidify with time through trust and continued results. The public has also seen firsthand how the Arellanos have placed high importance in community matters and have remained active participants of philanthropic organizations.

Jesus Vazquez brings more than 36 years of service in the commercial construction sector. He is a highly regarded figure in the construction industry thanks in part to his ongoing commitment to the next generation of construction professionals and to his active involvement at the Board of Directors level in some of the largest construction associations in the region. Jesus was honored as Distinguished Alumni by Florida International University during its 14th annual Torch Awards Charity Gala for his impeccable record of service and achievement. In addition, several high-profile projects were realized under Jesus’ leadership, including FTX Arena (fka American Airlines Arena), New World Symphony, Grove at Grand Bay, and the Adrienne Arsht Center for the Performing Arts, to name a few.

Gilberto Neves joins with over 36 years of service in the U.S. and international transportation space. His active involvement and contributions to Miami International Airport, America’s third-busiest airport for international passengers, made possible the realization of some of the most important expansion and improvement projects in benefit of the region – the North and South Terminal expansion programs, MIA Mover Automated People Mover (APM) System, Metro Orange Line Extension, among others. Other iconic projects under his watch included the Adrienne Arsht Center for the Performing Arts, SR 836 Interchange Improvements and the Ritz Carlton Hotel at Key Biscayne.

Today, Agustin, Gilberto, Jesus and Agustin Jr. are some of South Florida’s most respected and regarded construction executives. With leadership, strategic thinking and entrepreneurial spirit, the owners impulse a unified vision for the company; to make NV2A a best-in-class workplace for all employees, to grow it in parallel as it gives back to the community, and to revive South Florida with world-class construction and a true local spirit.

NV2A offers the most comprehensive construction management services in South Florida. The company serves both private and public sector clients through design-build, design-bid-build, construction management at risk, owner’s representative and emergency response services.
