Lyric Point is a two-story, 55,000 SF, mixed-use building next to the historic Lyric Theater in Overtown, Miami. The building includes 27,000 SF of retail space on the first level, 27,000 SF of office space on the second level, and a 101-space surface parking lot. Construction consists of pre-cast joist and soffit beams with a cast-in lace slab structure; the exterior envelope is stucco masonry and ribbon windows on three sides. Shallow foundations, concrete columns, and shear walls for the stairs and elevator shafts support the structure. The project was delivered on a fast-track construction schedule and attained LEED certification.
