Norwegian Cruise Line's Great Stirrup Cay, Phase II

Great Stirrup Cay is a private island in the Bahamas developed by Norwegian Cruise Lines to serve an ever-expanding role as a destination for cruise ships with private daytime accommodations and recreation facilities for cruise passengers. Phase II includes construction of 16 beach-front cabanas, 22 lagoon-front villas, and 8 one-bedroom and two-bedroom villas. Constructed amenities include a spa, reception building, restaurant facilities as well as sitework and excavation of an in-island lagoon and private beach and all accompanying finishes, landscaping, and electrical distribution. In addition, two dormitory buildings were constructed to expand the island’s support infrastructure for live-in operations crews including laundry and staff recreation facilities. NV2A Group was brought aboard as the Construction Manager as Agent for the completion of Phase II work and assist with the planning of future improvements currently being programmed. Services include program management, construction management, procurement, and logistics coordination of personnel and shipping.
