Leon Medical Center East Hialeah is a first of its kind, fully integrated technology smart medical center. The project consists of the new construction of a four-story 65,000SF medical facility on a five-acre site. The center features a new main entrance plaza, 64 state-of-the-art smart exam rooms which are divided into eight pods of eight exam rooms, a four-story central atrium, including Green specifications throughout, and site work. The ground floor features the main lobby, café, dental, rapid care, imaging departments, laboratory, pharmacy and transportation lobby. Floors two and three house exam rooms and the fourth floor house a healthy living center, specialty classrooms, gymnasium and a physical therapy department and areas for the staff. Phase one included the construction of the new center and sitework on the northern half of the property. Phase two included demolition of the existing center and site, and construction of the balance of the site on the southern half of the property, installation of the main entrance canopy.
