My journey as a laborer/carpenter lead me to the path of construction and into the arms of NV2A, 2 years ago, and have been the finest year looking forward for many more to come. I couldn’t be any prouder of this company and the opportunities they have presented me with. I have been part of the construction industry for 2 years and they’ve been the finest 2 years and looking forward for many more to come! At work, I am motivated by knowledge, growth, the everyday challenges and my team are my motivations! Being able to learn something new daily, whether it’s administratively or in the field, is very humbling. Construction brings unity, teamwork, and intricate design to the everyday task and to see the team (client, GC, subcontractors) work towards a common goal, is inspiring. Outside my work, I enjoy photography, drag racing, boats, hiking, and the gym. My advice for students considering a career in construction: If you’re willing to put forth maximum effort for your growth, enjoy the complexity of construction, and appreciate the beauty of teamwork, this is the career for you.
